I am writing this Newsletter on my forthcoming birthday 2nd November as I reflect on this painting year with all its offerings of beauty, good weather, and opportunities to paint. Photographing, sketching and painting left me with a plethora of material. Just too much to insert on my website, but hey ho that’s life.
|
October was a quiet month on the painting front giving me time to assess what subjects are most popular and found that a cross spectrum of my chosen categories’ was still the best. Moods are an excellent way to choose subjects as they come from the heart resulting in what I have painted. However, we are coming off autumn and into the last quarter of the year and seeing interest in the Christmas festival looming.

With that in mind, many people begin to wonder what gifts may be appropriate to show good relationships, love and appreciation with family and friends. No need to worry, why not a mounted print of a painting, or on another slant a print on a mug, tea cloth or jigsaw?
|
I have classified the paintings by season (see the article below) so it is now much simpler to pick appropriate paintings. You can click on the season you feel appropriate and the website will show you suitable paintings.
